Rejoice in Suffering

When the storms of life arise... Rejoice in your suffering, it has a purpose.

Romans 5:3-5 — We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

Sometimes you just need to remember that I have already overcome this world and conquered death. I can’t and won’t promise an easy life for you. It would be like giving a child everything they want without earning it by hard work… it won’t help them to understand, it won’t help them to stand on their own and it won’t help them to fulfill the purpose I’ve set for them. So it is for you…

The pain and suffering that you go through has a purpose. It helps you to see that you cannot do this life on your own… it draws you to Me… It’s in the valley’s that you truly seek Me and when you do… I am there. Your continued steps forward delight Me because I am molding you into my likeness. Because I dwell within you, you will feel my presence and changes occurring within your Spirit… suffering helps you to persevere, which builds your character. My hope gives you a longing for things to come that I have promised you. Rest in Me, My love is poured into your heart and is overflowing… and I give you My peace which surpasses all understanding.

Have confidence because My hope does not disappoint.
