Come, He said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
It’s easy for you to step out on the water right after you’ve listened to a message, went to a prayer meeting, worshipped Me … However, I’m calling you out onto the water daily. The waves will be rough and the winds strong, that’s why you need to stay so focused on Me that you hardly notice them. But soon after the highs have left you, suddenly you’re not sure if you heard My voice or not, and doubt sets in. I don’t want you to second guess, but to step out with reckless abandon. I am there with you and won’t let you fall, but I need you to walk out on your own two feet… that’s faith and trust. Surrender yourself and your circumstances and don’t fear, I am ready to reach out for you at a moments notice. Without risk there is no reward, so recognize Me and place your complete reliance on Me–be willing to risk your all for Me.
