For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Child you do this almost every day… you judge others. You can act and pretend that you don’t, but I know your heart and I see who you really are. Oh, you can be very subtle, but I see your facial expressions that you so quickly hide. I see you do a quick glance over someone, mentally judging what they chose to wear. I hear your thoughts when you see someone and you say to yourself that you’re glad you’re not like them. I hear your complaining about others to friends and I see you shake your head when no one else can because of a comment you heard that you felt was ridiculous and dumb. It’s a very long laundry list. It’s amazing what shortcomings in others you notice, but you don’t even realize that these same things that you see in others are also evident in you. Choose to focus on the good in others and love like I love. Kindness needs to be prominent… when you love and are kind there isn’t much room to judge. So be careful where you allow yourself to go, because with the measure you use to judge others, the same will be used in judging you.
