1 Peter 4:12-13
Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when His Glory is revealed.
This verse jumped out at you as you read it. I know these past couple of weeks have been an ordeal for you. It has been tough and you recognize that your season is a wilderness right now. Things have not been going at all as you hoped and planned, in fact, things keep happening on a downward spiral. Last week I spoke to you in the midst of your cries and asked you to trust Me. In the wilderness you must trust and believe. I am here with you. I know it’s not pleasant, but see it for what it is and do not be discouraged. Press forward and utilize this time to grow even more in Me. I give you seasons for different experiences, and you are in a deeper learning and growth area now. Understanding your season will help to settle your mind and heart so your focus can be directed in the areas where I need them to be. Participating in life with Me is not easy, but it’s a journey well worth walking. Trust and believe, I am walking it with you and you will be blessed once you walk through the wilderness into the promises I have in store for you.
