What Surrounds You?

"...It is not what goes into the mouth of a man that defiles and dishonors him, but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles and dishonors him." ~Matthew 15:11

Matthew 15:11
“…It is not what goes into the mouth of a man that defiles and dishonors him, but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles and dishonors him.”

You are more influenced by the things you surround yourself with than you realize. Listening to the negative someone speaks, watching a TV show or playing games that don’t portray wholesomeness may not seem like a bad choice at the time. However, when you keep having this influence over you, you tend to become less sensitive to the wrongs within them that originally stood out to you like a sore thumb. What once were strong feelings that My Spirit placed into your heart have become weaker and weaker if you allow them. Once this happens, your words will slowly change as well. You will become that which you give your heart and mind over to. It doesn’t start out as wrong, but it is something you must be mindful of so that is doesn’t replace the growth that we have been working toward. Be careful that you don’t conform to this world, but that the world can see a difference in you… My light shining in the midst of the present darkness.
