Be Steadfast and Excel

Work for Me, excelling and not complaining. Change your heart and attitude. 1 Corinthians 15:58

1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord [always doing your best and doing more than is needed], being continually aware that your labor [even to the point of exhaustion] in the Lord is not futile nor wasted [it is never without purpose].

You may feel that your being taken advantage of, but it’s just for a time. Do the work for Me, excelling and not complaining… change your heart and attitude and know that nothing you do and give to Me is futile or wasted. Some things you take on yourself and I didn’t ask you to do. Seek Me first before you commit yourself. Sometimes I ask you to say “no” because I have something else for you… sometimes I ask you to say “no” because I have meant that task for someone else. So, seek Me first to know what My will for you is and don’t interfere in ways and places you don’t belong. I know your heart and willingness, but sometimes I need you to rest and wait for the next “thing” that I am preparing you for. This will help you to be more open and ready, it will give you a chance for a change of attitude… this matters much to Me. So, be aware. Are you just working for the sake of obligation? Or are you working knowing that your heart and efforts are for Me? The work I give to you is never without purpose.
